Stella McCartney doesn’t think about what pattern or colour, if the design is tight or not. Instead, when she comes up with a design she thinks how recyclable or environmentally friendly it is. Her constant thought how to make the space around her better. She said in an interview ‘I design clothes that are made to last. I believe in creating pieces that aren’t going to get burnt, that aren’t going to landfills, that aren’t going to damage the environment.’ She always questions its sustainability and if you can improve that. She thinks more fashion designers shouldn’t just design a dress for every new season, instead they should be asking what materials are being used? How is it being made?
